“You got a second? OK, ok, I’ll make it quick.  I tried your office but they said you were out I said no he’s in , they said honestly he’s out he took an afternoon off, I said he never takes an afternoon off, were they crazy? They said honestly you were so I took a chance and called your cell phone and now you’ve answered, okay, right I said I’d make it quick. I will make it quick. I will.  I’ve got some pitches for you and these are gonna be huge so ready? Got your pen? Whatever, I know you don’t but you will, okay, get this, ready? Treeland: a group of those treehugger environmentalists, we could get a bunch of the young people kids like, they try to stop a lot from selling Christmas trees but the guy who runs it, think Bradley, he doesn’t want to sell them in the first place, he only does it so that his dad won’t fire him from the family company, so he tries  to secretly help the head hippy who’s like this hot girl, probably Amanda, maybe, only she doesn’t trust him so while he’s trying to sabotage his company without his dad knowing and help her, she’s trying to sabotage him without him knowing and of course they fall in love and invent some kind of eco-tree that makes the Dad happy. It’ll have a Christmas soundtrack!”

. . .

I think we got cut off.

That movie idea would have killed back in the 80s, especially if John Hughes had gotten behind it.

You'd think the producer getting these calls would be more receptive to Don's suggestions.

Or stop taking his calls.

I don't like Bradley for that role; he's too like-able. You need someone that people are less sure of. I'm not sure who, though.

I actually think Bradley Cooper IS unlikable. He's one of the reasons I don't want to see "Silver Linings Playbook."

Oh, that's a good movie.
And I'm not sure what you're saying there about Bradley. He's full of all kinds of charisma.
He also reminds me of my best friend from 5th-7th grades, so I'm not completely unbiased.
