The best motivational speaker you could get for the Super Bowl would be Larry Brown. Not the basketball coach, but the MVP of the Super Bowl in 1995 when the Cowboys beat the Steelers. He turned that one good performance into a huge contract with the Raiders and then was never heard from again.

Runner-up would be Desmond Howard who was the Super Bowl MVP the next year and parlayed that into a huge contract (also with the Raiders I think) before signing with the Lions to return kicks for a few years and then going on to work for ESPN's College Football Gameday.

So basically the message being: hey, you play well this 1 game and it can make you shitloads of money for the rest of your career!

Although it didn't work out so well for the heroes of the Giants' last win over the Patriots. I mean David Tyree probably isn't even in the league anymore after making "the Helmet Catch" and Plaxico Burress got put in jail months after that Super Bowl win where he caught the deciding touchdown.

But still, if you can play well enough to get an MVP you'll probably be set for life!

BTW, the reason pro football players need "motivational speeches" is that they are conditioned to EXPECT them, having heard them in high school and college. Much of the game-prep is highly ritualistic and very occupation-specific. We all know how superstitious most jocks are.
